Early start and a short walk to Jomsom Airport to catch a flight to Pokhara, view over the range we just walked across were amazing. We had a few days in Pokhara, one of them was spent waking early to view the sun rise over the spectacular Himalayan mountain range

The day after the big climb to Thorong La Pass, views are still amazing with Annapurna 3 still in sight. Passing through Kagbeni and stopping off for some lunch, visited a Buddhist school in the little town before getting on a buss to Jomsom.

Getting colder and air is getting thinner as we ascend from 4050 meters up to 4450 meter but the weather is amazing. Our days stay in Manang has finished and we continue out trek to Thorong La, weather is still good, cold but dry and sunny so warm when you're in the sun. Views are getting better each day and starting to see more people on the trail too. we came across construction workers laying power lines, Nepal is progressing an its good to see. Spent an extra day and night in Manang at 3550 meter to help with acclimatization. Around 3000 meters is when you may see the affects of altitude sickness (AMS) We didn't sit around though, to help with the acclimatization we climbed 600 meter to meet with a Buddhist Nun in her Monastery sat in the mountains. Apparently, she only comes down during the harsh winter period.
